What we offer

JRH specifically support households that are faced with challenges through health or affordability, and are finding it difficult to manage their household utilities and efficiency. There are various grants available to both homeowners and tenants.

We will assess your circumstances and act on your behalf to determine which measures and grants are available to improve your home's energy performance rating. These grants can help make your home more energy-efficient, helping to reduce your energy costs.

Working in partnership with Effective Energy, we take care of the entire process for you.

The available grants focus on improving your heating system, insulating your property’s walls and roof, and implementing solar PV solutions. The ideal solution for you may not be straightforward, but JRH will find the best way forward for you.

What is an EPC rating?

EPC Ratings

All properties carry an EPC (Energy Performance Certificate). These range from A (Highest Rating) to G (Lowest Rating)

Your property will be assigned a rating based on its last assessment.

There are multiple measures that can be taken in conjunction with each other to improve this. However, the priority is to reduce your costs of running your home and improve your rating which in turn reduces your impact on the environment.

Who is eligible for the grants?

The grants are available to both homeowners and tenants.

Complete our free eligibility checker to ensure that you qualify for the grant, it will only take you 60 seconds.

Welcome to the ECO4 Questionnaire. This tool will help determine your eligibility for the Energy Company Obligation scheme and suggest the best energy-saving measures for your home. Please answer the following questions to proceed.

The steps involved

We have created a straightforward process for enrolling homes.

The first step is to review the EPC rating of your home, identify the improvements that need to be made,
and optimise the use of the government funding that is available to complete these works for you.

Step 1:
Property Assessment

We will undertake a desktop review of your property assessing its current energy performance and identifying areas of expected improvement.

Step 4:
Confirm Funding

Our Administration Team will assess the results of the eligibility checks, alongside the retrofit assessment results. And confirm available funding routes.

Step 2:
Owner or Tenant Assessment

We complete a simple tenant eligibility check, to see which funding routes may be available to secure retrofit improvement works at zero cost to the property owner.

Step 5:
Retrofit Works

Our Installation Team will schedule a date and time for installation, ensuring it meets expectations for the property owner or tenant, and complete the retrofit works.

Step 3:
Property Survey

Our Energy Assessment Team will visit each property individually and carry out a retrofit assessment. This will confirm the current efficiency position of the property and identify potential improvement areas.

Step 6:
Confirm Improvements

After the retrofit works have been completed, we will confirm the revised energy efficiency status of the property, illustrating an improved EPC rating and a more comfortable property for you.
